At Fonda’s Furry Friends Dog Sitting Services located in Ferndale, WA, I’ve created a space where your pets are cared for just like my own. My mission is to provide high-quality dog sitting that focuses on the unique needs of each of my four-legged guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable, safe, and fun. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where every dog feels relaxed and truly at home.

This vision was a whim and a prayer with inspiration and intention based on my own experiences with what little resources were available to my four legged family members at the time. It was awful for them. I want to do better for the other families and provide another option.

I was humbled because it actually captures exactly why I’m doing this with such care and planning. My own fur children that have passed were my inspiration because they would have done so much better in the type of environment I’m providing, which wasn’t available at that time. I felt guilt and anxiety every second I was away because at the time, there were only kennels available and my fur children wouldn’t eat, wouldn’t sleep and cried constantly. I hated that for them and their behavior showed they were stressed out and they were labeled as problem dogs. It made me feel awful. They weren’t the “problem,” it was the environment and I constantly felt I had to apologize for their behavior and it made me sick. I never want another pet parent to feel that way and I never want another fur child to be labeled as a problem, when it’s the environment that was a problem.
